A New Community Hall
As the site currently houses a community hall, we made the decision to re-provide a new and improved community hall on the upper-ground floor of their development.
We have also agreed with the local authority, Reigate & Banstead, that the space will be given to them for a community use of their choice.
We have helped the council with the fit-out of this space to ensure the council’s chosen tenant is housed as comfortably as possible.
The plans will also provide 50 dedicated cycle spaces for residents, along with a roof garden and a new pedestrian link between Marketfield Way and the existing station underpass.
New trees along Marketfield Way and the pedestrian link will also be provided. No car parking is to be provided due to the site’s close proximity to the town centre and station.
